Upon arrival, we got to work right away—with the first step being the removal of all rotted windows and siding. The windows were replaced with our premium vinyl windows from Alside, which are noted for their high durability and optimal energy-saving features.

At the same time, the rotted siding was initially replaced with OSB sheathing. After the sheathing was put in place, we got to work installing all-new James Hardie pre-finished lap siding. As for the design, the homeowner chose to upgrade the home with a more modern and sophisticated look by going with James Hardie Gray Slate for the siding color. For a striking contrast, the house was trimmed in James Hardie pre-finished trim in Arctic White, including the soffit and fascia.

When it was all said and done, the new windows and siding resulted in an attractive, durable, and energy-efficient home making the Faust Siding Project a resounding success. After years of deterioration and a visibly drab and decrepit appearance, the entire property was successfully transformed with a modern yet timeless look that will last for decades to come.
