Overland Park LP Smart Siding Project

Overland Park LP Smart Siding Installers

New Pre-Finished LP SmartSide Lap Siding

Are you searching for Overland Park LP Smart Siding Installers?

At Smart Exteriors, we’re often tasked with siding replacement projects. This occurs largely because of how valuable siding really is for the home. The siding is the first line of protection for the home, and it is the first thing people notice making it the first impression when it comes to a home’s curb appeal. As a result, when old siding is underperforming, new siding is warranted to correct the issue.

A recent project called the Wagner siding project gave us a chance to demonstrate our prowess as LP SmartSiding installers. The home in question was located in Overland Park, KS and was built in 1992. The home was done with original wood composite siding when it was built. By the time we received the call, the siding was rotting in several different spots throughout the house. Fortunately, the means to correct this concern was a snap and we got to work immediately.

The first thing we did was to cut out the existing rotten siding and inspect the home for any rot present past the siding. Once verified to be in the clear, we replaced the old siding with new OSB sheathing as a protective layer between the home and the actual siding we were about to install. The owner chose to go with new pre-finished lap siding by LP SmartSiding. The siding was finished in Diamond Kote in a seal color. Seal is a sandy brown tone that blended extremely well with the rest of the home and property and was an excellent choice for this project. The home was finished with Diamond Kote pre-finished trim in a Biscuit color, an off-white, beige tone that provided a noticeable-yet-muted contrast to the main color that served to enhance the visibility of the Seal colored siding.

Our mission is to work with the customer to identify a solution that addresses performance and aesthetic appeal. The new siding is highly durable with a natural resistance to moisture and termites, making it a solution built to last for decades. The soothing, earth-toned colors of the installation show beautifully and tied the entire home together, enhancing the curb appeal to a significant degree. At the end of the day, the Wagner siding project was another win for Smart Exteriors and the homeowner, and we’re happy to have had the chance to be involved in yet another gorgeous Kansas home transformation.
