A Lee’s Summit homeowner was frustrated with his house. The exterior of his two-story, 1980s-built home was beginning to show its age including wood rot from decades of harsh weather, and woodpecker damage from unwanted visitors. He saw exterior remodeling work by Smart Exteriors on other homes in his neighborhood and was exceedingly impressed with the results. After meeting with our design and sales team, he hired us to overhaul his home’s exterior.
After consulting with our team, the homeowner chose James Hardie fiber cement siding in Monterey Taupe with white trim, a new deck using Fiberon Good Life deck boards and black aluminum rails, and Wincore premium vinyl windows. Since the stucco front of the home was still in great shape, we painted it to match the new siding, rather than replacing it.
