1970s Split-Level Gets a Brand New Look

To start, we met with the customers to get a good understanding of what the homeowners wanted. Once that initial meeting took place, we created a detailed 3D rendering to show them what the project would look like when it was done and answered any questions they had about what would happen during the renovation. Once the details were agreed upon, work began.

Smart Exteriors Removes Rotted Siding and Starts Fresh

The home was built in 1976, so it had some dated cedar shake siding on the front and rotting panel siding on the sides and back. We removed all of the rotted material and installed James Hardie fiber cement lap siding in Khaki Brown with Arctic White trim. We also removed rotten panels and replaced them with OSB before installing the new siding.
